Samsung SDS to Provide AI-Powered Automated Simultaneous Interpretation at Asia’s Largest Insurance Conference

+ Real-world application of a ‘conference without language barriers’ at the Pacific Insurance Conference
+ ‘Brity Copilot’ provides simultaneous interpretation in four languages -- English, Japanese, Chinese, and Korean
+ Personalized AI secretary service, ‘Personal Agent,’ to be expanded by the end of the year

Samsung SDS will provide AI-powered simultaneous interpretation for the Pacific Insurance Conference (PIC) 2025, scheduled for September 23rd to 25th in Seoul.

As the largest insurance industry conference in the Asia-Pacific region, the PIC’s theme this year is ‘Transformative Leadership: Reaching New Heights in Insurance.’ Approximately 300 top-ranking officials from 80 related companies and organizations will attend the event.

For the conference, Samsung SDS will offer AI-based simultaneous interpretation services in four languages -- English, Japanese, Chinese, and Korean -- by leveraging Brity Copilot, a generative AI-based collaboration solution.

Conference participants can choose the language channel they want using a wireless receiver to hear AI-based simultaneous interpretations provided by Brity Copilot in real time.

Brity Copilot is a collaboration solution that applies generative AI to common business activities, including email, messenger, video conferencing, and document management. Samsung SDS is preparing to launch its ‘Personal Agent’ service, which autonomously judges and carries out tasks based on task goals set by users.

This year’s PIC Conference is the first large-scale international event to apply the ‘Interpreting Agent’ feature of ‘Personal Agent.’ The Interpreting Agent currently provides real-time interpretation in seven languages (German, Vietnamese, Spanish, English, Japanese, Chinese, and Korean). The service scope will be further expanded to cover 17 languages by November, including Portuguese, French, and Italian.

In addition to the Interpreting Agent unveiling at this event, Samsung SDS plans to launch ‘Briefing, Answering, Curating, and Voice Agents*’ by the end of this year, which can be utilized for different work situations.

Hae-goo Song, Executive Vice President and the Leader of the Solution Business Division at Samsung SDS, said, “Our simultaneous interpretation service has proven its quality, making it suitable for use at international events. We expect the service to significantly help companies collaborate with overseas partners. With the other Personal Agents to be sequentially launched, we will lead the market and will support companies in their business innovations.”

On September 11th, Samsung SDS launched ‘REAL Summit 2025,’ a customer-invitation event at COEX, Seoul. There they unveiled its AI agent-based corporation innovation strategies and its ‘full-stack AI service’ strategies covering all areas of infrastructure, consulting, platform, and solutions for AI-based transformation.
