Virtual Server allows users to assign only the amount of necessary virtual computing resources at the time when needed, without having to purchase CPU, memory or other infrastructure resources from servers. The virtual computing service provides resources with optimized performance for the purpose from development to testing and running application programs in the cloud environment.

Overview

  • Simplified Computing Environment Configuration

    Using a web-based console, users can easily provision Virtual Servers, manage resources and manage costs. If necessary, the capacity of key resources such as CPU and memory can be scaled in or out while using Virtual Servers by modifying Virtual Server specifications.

  • Various Service Types

    Virtualized vCore/memory resources are provided based on the typical server specifications, and master OS images of various types are also offered.
    • Standard : Generally used computing spec(up to 16vCore, 256GB)
    • High capacity : Provide more resources than regular specific resources

  • Strong Security

    Virtual Servers are securely protected by inbound/outbound traffic control with external Internet or other VPC(Virtual Private Cloud) through Security Group service. Real-time monitoring also support reliable operation of computing resources.

    1. Select Virtual Server for work type and required spec(standard or high capacity)
    2. Offer various OS types and standard images for creating resources conveniently
    3. Securely connect to the OS using key pairs
  • Storage and network connection
    1. Provide additional storage besides OS disk
    2. Set up subnet/IP and enable the use/turn off NAT IP setting
    3. Providing a connection to local subnets for communication between servers
    4. Provide Security Group integration setting
  • Convenient service management
    1. Modifying Virtual Server specs, and managing creation/changes in init script and tag
    2. Creating custom images and replicating them between accounts
    3. Deploying Virtual Server distributed/near approach through server group

Pricing

    • Billing
    • Without contract : Hourly billing for the actual usage according to the on/off status of VM
    • With contract : Discount applied according to 1/3 year contract terms. Fixed monthly charges for the amount of requested resources
      * Penalty is charged for early termination within the contract period
    • Basic offering and add-on options
    • Basic offering : OS S/W, 100GB for OS installation disk, and 1 public IP
    • Additional charges for add-on offering/options, including reserved IP
