Firewalls for Connecting Traffic of VPC with Internet and Customer Network

Firewall provides logical firewalls for the traffic generated in Internet Gateway, VPC Peering, Transit Gateway, Direct Connect, and Load Balancer. Network security is ensured by setting inbound/outbound rules on communications between VPC and the Internet, VPC and customer network, and Load Balancer and servers, as well as among VPCs. Firewall rules can also be applied in batch for firewall migration, reducing work hours and risk of possible omissions.

Overview

  • Various Network Environment Protection

    Samsung Cloud Platform offers logical firewalls to each of the VPCs, customer networks and various network environments for Internet connection, securely protecting the network from unauthorized access.

  • Easy Network Management

    Firewalls can be applied simply using a web-based console. Application regulations, including source/destination IPs, protocols/ports, and inbound/outbound application rules can also be easily created and managed.

  • Simple Log Management

    Firewall logs may be saved by each firewall leveraging the user’s storage resources. Permit/Allow log history supports fast troubleshooting and recovery in the case of an issue.
