OCI Services Offered through Samsung SDS Datacenter

Samsung Cloud Platform Oracle Services offers OCI services to support Oracle software workloads by physically deploying OCI resources in Samsung SDS datacenter. It enhances user experience by making it simple and easy for SCP users to use OCI services.
*OCI offered by SCP refers to OCI for SCP.

Overview

  • Multi Cloud

    It is easy to access OCI services by simply logging into the SCP console.
    By ensuring high performance, scalability, security, availability and automation at the same level as the OCI services, users can configure Oracle workloads such as Oracle database, Exadata, Weblogic, etc. without a license issue.

  • Robust Security

    SCP Oracle Services is completely isolated in a physical and logical sense from the public OCI, which ensures a high level of security.
    As OCI services offered by SCP is connected to SCP resources via with a high-speed and reliable line, it ensures a secure and reliable OCI environment in Samsung SDS datacenter.

  • Simple & Integrated Management

    SCP users can manage their OCI services in integration with existing SCP resources, and OCI usage is charged simply in integration with SCP billing system.

Key Features

  • Linking user account between SCP and OCI
    1. Automatically create and register an OCI tenancy/account using SCP user's account and IAM user
    2. Access OCI web console by simply logging into SCP console with Single Sign-On(SSO)
  • Integrating/expanding SCP-OCI user environment
    1. Connect and extend SCP VPCs in user accounts to OCI VCN environments
    2. Connect the Transit Gateway in SCP and the DRG in OCI to BGP peering using preconfigured dedicated lines between SCP and OCI
  • Providing initial configuration of OCI network
    1. Provide a BluePrint feature that help users configure prerequisites for Oracle DB, Exadata, and Weblogic
    2. Create VCN, private subnet and service gateway, and register DRG-VCN attach and IP
      ※ Users can request and use OCI services as needed through the OCI web console
  • Accessing OCI usage history through SCP and enabling integrated billing
