Brightics IoT is an Internet of Things (IoT) Platform that collects and manages data in real-time from the connected devices at industrial sites such as sensors, facilities and equipment.

Brightics IoT has recently been acknowledged as a representative global IIoT platform by Forrester, another global research in the IT industry, in its Forrester Wave report on ‘Industrial IoT Software Platforms, Q4 2019’.

Meanwhile, to strengthen the competitiveness of Brightics IoT, Samsung SDS is enhancing its edge computing functions for real-time collection and analysis of data which will lead to reduced burden of transferring big data.

For this, Samsung SDS has implemented ‘lightweight AI model’ technology on its Brightics IoT which allows data analysis even on the small IoT devices.

Sean Im, Executive Vice President and leader of Solution Business Division of Samsung SDS, said, “We will continue developing Brightics IoT as a core platform that supports our customers’ digital transformation by advancing its big data management and edge computing functions.”
