Samsung SDS Holds AX Summit to Unveil Strategies and Technology Roadmap for AI-Native Transformation

On May 29th, Samsung SDS held the AX Summit at Magellan Hall at its Jamsil Campus. During the event they unveiled the direction for transitioning to an AI-native company along with a technology roadmap for AI Transformation (AX) innovation.
The summit was attended by approximately 600 people across 320 companies and organizations that are either using or considering the adoption of FabriX (Samsung SDS’s AI agent platform), Brity Automation (a business process automation solution), and Brightics AI (a data analytics platform). The event focused on real-world AX cases and execution strategies, beyond a mere introduction to technologies, garnering significant attention from participants.
Jong-pil Kim, Executive Vice President and Leader of the AX Center at Samsung SDS, presented the vision and role of the AX Center. He also introduced AI agent-driven business innovation offerings encompassing AI infrastructure, platforms, and solutions.
Soo-yeon Kim, AI Leader at EY Korea, presented key points for expanding AI and driving business outcomes, focusing on AX trends and use cases at leading global companies.
During the keynote session, Kae-young Shin, Executive Vice President and Leader of the AI Business Team at Samsung SDS, outlined the direction for enterprise AI initiatives under the theme ‘Strategy for Transitioning to an AI-Native Company.’ He also presented ‘Six Transition Pillars to Become AI Native,’ while sharing various project success cases.
Tae-hee Lee, Executive Vice President and Leader of the AI Development Team at Samsung SDS, presented ‘Technology Roadmap for Corporate AX Innovation.’ He introduced the audience to an integrated AX platform for transitioning to an AI-native company, encompassing advanced data integration, agent development and orchestration, and enterprise-level sharing and management systems.
Dong-jae Lee, Director at OpenAI Korea, presented the latest features of ChatGPT Enterprise, user value, and related cases. He attracted participants’ attention by explaining how AI is reshaping the way companies work and redefining business environments.
He also shared real-world application cases in industries requiring high levels of security, including the public and financial sectors. Industry-specific AX implementation strategies and practical methods for innovation were also suggested. The presentation enhanced participants’ understanding by focusing on real-world business cases and achievements.
At the event, the ‘AX Strategy Clinic,’ which provided customized consulting and solutions for individual companies, received strong positive responses from participants. Experts analyzed each company’s current status and proposed phased strategies for adopting solutions, while attendees had the opportunity to resolve their various questions.
Additionally, during the hands-on session, attendees were provided with the opportunity to experience FabriX’s latest version and upcoming features in advance.
