□ A Series of Contracts with Secta9ine, Hanatour and Others, Delivering Immediate Wins Following OpenAI Reseller Partnership Agreement
Secta9ine operates IT and marketing platforms for well-known brands in Korea, including Paris Baguette and Baskin Robbins, as well as Happy Point, one of Korea’s leading membership programs. Following Samsung SDS’s reseller partnership agreement with OpenAI, Secta9ine became the first company to adopt ChatGPT Enterprise. Secta9ine plans to actively leverage generative AI to enhance productivity in all business functions -- including development, data analysis, and marketing -- in a fully secure enterprise data environment while delivering differentiated customer experience.
Yeon-jin Choo, Executive Vice President at Secta9ine, said, “With the adoption of ChatGPT Enterprise, we will transform the way we work to become ‘AI Natives.’ We will further accelerate the pace of innovation through Samsung SDS’s pre-assessment and technical support.”
Hanatour has unveiled H-AI, the industry’s first multi-AI-agent-based service, providing differentiated AI-powered services, including 24/7 real-time customer service and hyper-personalized tour product recommendations. Recently, the company announced its AI First Company vision, highlighting a strategy for enterprise-wide deployment of AI technologies -- including B2C, B2B and B2B2C -- to enhance its operational efficiency and customer experiences alike.
Tae-gwon Kim, Director of IT at Hanatour, stated that the key drivers behind the adoption were a strong security architecture that ensures internal enterprise data is not used for AI model training; and the ability to leverage top-tier, high-performance AI models. He added, “We expect that Samsung SDS’s AI full-stack services, including ChatGPT Enterprise, will further accelerate Hanatour’s AI-driven transformation.”
In addition to customer cases, Samsung SDS also presented real-world use scenarios of its own employees. The company outlined standard processes for safely operating generative AI in enterprise environments, based on security policies, operational guidelines, and data management standards. Also, the company drew much attention with a live demonstration of how its employees actually leverage AI at work.
Meanwhile, Samsung SDS announced that it is in the process of signing ChatGPT Enterprise adoption agreements with multiple companies, in addition to Secta9ine and Hanatour, who participated in the panel discussion. Samsung SDS also noted a rapid increase in AI adoption inquiries from various industries, including manufacturing, retail, finance, and the public sector.
Jeong-heon Lee, Executive Vice President of the Strategic Marketing Office at Samsung SDS, said, “This seminar provided participants with concrete insights into how AI can be adopted and scaled in enterprise environments. We will combine our industry-specific expertise and OpenAI’s technological power to help more companies accelerate their AI transformation.”
