Samsung SDS unveiled its preliminary financial results for the third quarter of 2025, posting a revenue of KRW 3.3913 trillion and an operating profit of KRW 232.3 billion. Compared to the same period last year, the company’s revenue and operating profit fell by 5% and 8.1%, respectively.

Revenue from the IT service sector was KRW 1.5957 trillion, down 2.1% from the same period last year. Revenue from the cloud business grew approximately 5.9% to KRW 674.6 billion, continuing its steady growth.

Among the cloud businesses, the Cloud Service Provider (CSP) business posted an 18% YOY rise in revenue, driven by increased adoption of the Samsung Cloud Platform (SCP) for public services and expansion of cloud services in the manufacturing sector, in particular.

The Managed Service Provider (MSP) business maintained a similar level of performance YOY, supported by cloud migration/implementation/operation projects in the financial sector, as well as generative AI implementation services in the public sector.

Revenue from the logistics sector was KRW 1.7956 trillion, down 7.4% from the same period last year. This was driven by a decline in ocean freight rates and decreased cargo volumes due to the enforcement of U.S. tariff policies.

Cello Square, a digital logistics platform, saw its subscriber base grow by 31%, reaching 23,451 companies.

Amid ongoing economic uncertainty due to U.S. tariff policies and decreased investment by companies, Samsung SDS will continue to expand its business with a focus on cloud and generative AI services and Cello Square.

For the public sector, Samsung SDS will focus on follow-up implementations of its current projects. The company also plans to expand its business by promoting intelligent platform adoption via the public-private partnership cloud spaces at the Daegu Center of the National Information Resources Service (NIRS); and by upgrading agency-specific AI services utilizing large-scale AI.

Additionally, in the logistics business, Samsung SDS will reinforce its air logistics and warehouse operation businesses, which are expected to see stable growth.
