FPMS is a service that automates firewall operations to ensure that the firewall functions securely and efficiently in a cloud environment. Automating all manual admin tasks lead to less human error and failures and better service lead time.

Overview

  • Failure Prevention

    FPMS prevents human errors caused by manually registering firewalls. It also analyzes the grammar and structure of the application information such as IP and port information, and converts it into an acceptable data form, thereby preventing failures.

  • Enhanced Operational Efficiency

    FPMS supports a feature where the application of firewall policy is automated and policy applied for DR backup firewall is replicated to another firewall. Firewall policies also expire after a certain amount of time and inactivated policies are deleted automatically, reducing burdens on the IT operations team.

  • Optimized Firewall Rules

    Rule optimization is achieved by using an optimization algorithm for firewall policy that is to be applied. FPMS also prevents redundant rules from being applied by detecting duplicate or permanent rules.

  • Strengthened Security System

    Analyzing excessively open policies or expired/unused policies and calculating scores for analysis findings help keep track of the vulnerability status. In addition, the vulnerability action guide helps strengthen cloud security on a continuous basis.
