    - In a report called The Forrester Wave™: Industrial IoT Software Platforms, Q4 2019, Forrester identified the 14 most significant IIoT software platform providers after a thorough evaluation in 24 criteria such as current offering, strategy, and market presence of each vendor. Samsung SDS has been named a contender for its Brightics IoT platform.

    - In the Wave report, Forrester states: “The Brightics IoT platform supports core IIoT platform functionality, such as device connectivity, device management, and data analytics.”

    - Forrester also notes: “Samsung SDS Brightics IoT platform's out-of-the-box integrations are primarily with Samsung's own vertical solutions, including Cello for logistics, Nexfinance for finance, Nexplant MES for manufacturing, and Nexshop for retail. …Samsung SDS offers prepackaged applications for predictive maintenance, AR/VR, and blockchain to address emerging opportunities.”

    In the report, Samsung SDS, via its Brightics IoT Platform, was listed as an edge/OEM IoT platform provider that differentiates itself by leveraging a mixed hardware and software perspective for its IoT platform strategy.
