EYEONIX and Samsung SDS Europe successfully launch Research, Innovation & Development Center in Greece.
Samsung SDS Europe is pleased to announce the successful implementation of a major new project within its established strategic partnership with EYEONIX: the opening of a new Research, Innovation & Development Center of Excellence (R&I&D Center of Excellence) in Greece. Under the project leadership of EYEONIX and in close cooperation with Samsung SDS, this initiative marks the next chapter in a long-term collaboration dedicated to delivering high-security, AI-enabled digital solutions for mission-critical environments.
The establishment of this Center further strengthens the deep technological bond between the two organizations. While EYEONIX took the lead in the design and execution of this project, the Center is built upon the robust foundation of Samsung SDS Europe’s and Samsung Electronics Greece’s secure mobility and enterprise architectures, specifically optimized for complex operational requirements.
Advancing Mission-Critical Innovation
The new Center operates as a hub for the design, development, and validation of innovative technologies in key domains such as cybersecurity, modern Command & Control (C2) centers, and specialized configurations for defense and public safety. By integrating Samsung’s hardware and software ecosystems, EYEONIX delivers advanced solutions for:

The Core: Command Platform Integrated with Samsung SDS
A central component of this project is the EYEONIX Command platform, which serves as a unified digital backbone for data integration and AI-supported decision-making.
Within the framework of this ongoing partnership, the Command platform, developed by EYEONIX, has been deeply integrated with Samsung SDS’s advanced secure mobility and enterprise management solutions. Leveraging the Samsung Knox security architecture, the platform is deployed on Samsung’s rugged professional devices (smartphones, tablets, and wearables) to ensure reliable and secure field operations.
Key Technologies Showcased at the Center
As part of this successful collaboration, Samsung SDS and Samsung Electronics Greece showcase several core technologies within the R&I&D Center:
- Secure Mobility: Next-generation Samsung rugged devices and smartphones, featuring Samsung Knox for device hardening and Trusted Execution Environments (TEE).
- Enterprise Management: High-security EMM solutions from Samsung SDS, enabling centralized device management, identity access, and policy enforcement for large-scale deployments.
- Joint Validation: Support for the pilot deployment of advanced solutions based on the Command platform for smart cities and utility providers.
