Lunch with Samsung kicks off Digital Signage Week 2019
This year Lunch with Samsung once again kicked-off New York Digital Signage Week, as it has done now for the past three years. For those of you not familiar, Digital Signage Week, it is aimed at anyone involved with digital signage, who is interested in retail, employee communications, wayfinding, smart cities, adtech, digital out of home and, of course, digital signage itself.
Alongside lunch, Samsung hosted a panel discussion entitled ‘How System-on-Chip Technology Unlocks the Future for Digital Signage Networks’ which focused on Samsung Display’s system-on-chip (SoC) technology and digital out-of-home advertising, highlighting a specific digital transportation shelter on the Las Vegas Strip along with Partners Adomni and Vector Media. Samsung SDS Vice President of Digital Innovation Solutions Diane Carlson moderated the session with panelists Romulus Stoian from Samsung SDS, Jonathan Gudai from Adomni and Gary Greenstein from Vector Media sharing their expertise and insights on this space.
Attended by over 100 partners, integrators, customers and media, the session covered the benefits of leveraging SoC in digital signage networks and the future of the digital out-of-home market. The speakers explained that Samsung SDS technology paired with the content management capabilities engineered by Adomni and Vector Media offers seamless content deployment and negates the need for external media players, streamlining digital out-of-home initiatives.
