Samsung SDS ranked as 11th most valuable IT Services Brands

Samsung SDS announced that it has been ranked as 11th most valuable brand on the Brand Finance IT Services report, which is a rank higher than the last year’s report.

Brand Finance, an independent branded business valuation consultancy in United Kingdom, has introduced Samsung SDS as one of only two brands to improve its ranking in IT Services 25 report with a current brand value of US $3.7 billion, a 7% increase YoY.

Brand Finance featured Samsung SDS on the Brand Spotlight of its report which explained the success factors of Samsung SDS as revenue growth that outpaces the average IT services market growth, strengthened competitiveness based on advanced technologies such as AI, IoT, Blockchain, 5G and Cloud, and growth of its four major IT strategic businesses (intelligent factory, cloud, artificial intelligence & analytics, solutions).

Sean Im, Chief Strategy Officer, Executive Vice President of Solution Business Division of Samsung SDS, shared the plan to actively adopt disruptive technologies in the trends where digital innovation is accelerating to support the customers’ digital transformation.

Meanwhile, US economic magazine Forbes selected Samsung SDS as among 50 Global Blockchain companies leading Blockchain proliferation last year, and Samsung SDS’s case of digital innovation in manufacturing won the CIO 100 Awards for four consecutive years.

As Samsung SDS has set its new management policy as ‘Global business expansion as a sustainable growth engine’, the company is continuously strengthening its external business by targeting strategic business in the global market and actively discovering new customers and business models.
