Samsung SDS to Migrate AJ Networks Systems to Next-Generation Cloud

+ To migrate AJ Networks sales system to cloud
+ To implement cloud-based enterprise resource planning (ERP) system to procurement and accounting tasks
+ To contribute to AJ Networks’ digital transformation and process innovation by utilizing cloud technologies and ERP execution capabilities

Samsung SDS announced that it signed next-generation cloud conversion project with AJ networks, the largest general rental company in Korea.

Samsung SDS will migrate AJ Networks sales system to cloud and also implement new cloud-based ERP system for AJ Networks to manage major tasks such as procurement, logistics, accounting and management on cloud environment.

Samsung SDS plans to utilize optimal cloud technologies and methodologies in the project including: 1. Microservice architecture (MSA) which divides and delivers large application into small units, 2. DevOps that combines system development and operation stages, and 3. continuous integration (CI) and continuous delivery (CD) of applications.

Through this, AJ Networks will adopt flexible business and sales systems that can quickly respond to business expansion and market changes.

Samsung SDS is the only company in Korea that offers end-to-end cloud conversion services. The company has differentiated capabilities to deliver ‘Hybrid Cloud’ that appeals to various companies by providing comprehensive services in Samsung Cloud Platform (SCP), Managed Service Provider (MSP) and Software-as-a-Service (SaaS).

Moreover, the company successfully secured best practices in various industries since its first SAP ERP implementation in Korea in 1994. Samsung SDS has over 1,300 ERP workforce, which is the largest in Korea, and is recently expanding the cloud-based ERP implementation business.
