Discount Service Based on Instance Type Commitment

Planned Compute is a discount service that can be committed based on the type and quantity of instances to be used, with a one- or three-year contract and up to a 55% discount. This is a useful discount service for accounts that use the same type of instance.

Overview

  • Offering Savings

    Commitments that use specific types of instances in the Compute, Database, and Data Analytics service categories offer Planned Compute discounts. Discounts are offered in the order of application when applying for the same instance as the committed type(vCore/Memory/OS), and discounts are not offered if the commitment quantity is exceeded.

  • Supporting Various Features

    Planned Compute provides various features such as service application, extension and changing a server type. When applying for Planned Compute, users are required to specify services eligible for savings, its operating system, a server type, commitment term, and quotas.

  • Easy Management & Monitoring

    Using a list of Planned Compute, users can check the usage of Planned Compute and modify the terms and conditions in their commitment when necessary. Also, it allows users to see the savings achieved by Planned Compute compared to on-demand pricing through the coverage report.

    1. Spec downgrade and OS change not possible within the commitment period
    2. An early termination fee of 50% of the remaining balance will be charged at the two months after termination
