Manage Service Quotas for Samsung Cloud Platform Accounts

Quota Service is a service that manages quotas, which are the maximum number of resources, tasks, and settings set for each Samsung Cloud Platform service within an account. Quotas are limits set to ensure high availability and stability for customers and prevent unintended over-usage, and can be conveniently managed in one place through Quota Service.

Overview

  • Centralized Management

    Quota Service allows you to conveniently manage over 100 service quota items, including the number of Virtual Server instances, VPC, and Firewall settings, from a single console.

  • Flexibility and Scalability

    Users can conveniently view and request increases in one place using Quota Service. Quota increase requests are processed through Support Center, and some are processed quickly with automatic approval. Quotas can be managed in detail at the account level as well as the region level, and adjustable quotas can be expanded to meet the growth of the business.

  • Cost- Effectiveness

    Quota Service is provided free of charge, and Samsung Cloud Platform users can manage quotas to prevent increased costs due to unintended resource over-use.

User → Quota inquiry → Quota byu Service → Request for Quota increase → Support Center → Quota subject to approval → User → Admin approval → Quota by Service Quota by Service Virtual Server, VPC, Firewall .... Number of instances, Number of buckets, Maximum number of key paires, Maximum number of VPNs, Maximum number of DB instances
