Samsung SDS President and CEO Sungwoo Hwang Unveils Future Vision of Generative AI and Hyperautomation Innovation at DTW 2024

Sungwoo Hwang, President and CEO of Samsung SDS joined the keynote speech at Dell Technologies World (DTW) 2024, held in Las Vegas at 10:00 AM on May 20th (local time). He shared the company’s vision about the ‘Future of Generative AI and Hyperautomation.’

DTW 2024 was held from May 20th to 23rd under the theme of “Accelerating AI Adoption to Realize Innovation.” Approximately 10,000 developers and employees from global IT companies attended seminars and panel discussions covering the latest technological trends.

On the first day of the event, CEO Hwang joined a keynote speech by Michael Dell, Chairman and CEO of Dell Technologies, and gave a presentation under the theme of the ‘Future of Generative AI and Hyperautomation.’ Jensen Huang, Founder and CEO of NVIDIA, and Bill McDermott, Chairman and CEO of ServiceNow also joined the keynote speech.

CEO Hwang stated, “Many companies are recently paying attention to the introduction of generative AI services and corporate task automation using large language models (LLM). Samsung SDS has made efforts to find a way to automate corporate business systems and solutions in a conversational manner. As a result, we have launched the generative AI services FabriX and Brity Copilot.”

FabriX is a cloud-based generative AI service platform that connects IT resources, such as diverse enterprise data, knowledge assets, and work systems, to generative AI, helping employees conveniently share and use such resources.

Brity Copilot is a service that applies generative AI to collaborative solution supporting common business processes such as emails, meetings, messaging, and document management.

Samsung SDS’s generative AI services have strong merits. It can connect to various LLMs that companies want. It supports various environments, such as private clouds for enterprise customers who prioritize security to protect their sensitive corporate data.

CEO Hwang emphasized, “As enterprise customers’ demand for high-performing generative AI services increases, efficient and stable operation of GPU servers will be important. Samsung SDS can provide generative AI services to enterprise customers quickly and inexpensively through a close partnership with Dell.”

Finally, he added, “In the future, all computing technologies will evolve to easily upload and run applications and solutions with language interfaces. Furthermore, the era of GPU-centric computing will come. Samsung SDS will lead such a transformation.”
