Samsung SDS signed a strategic partnership with ServiceNow, a U.S.-based software company, to further expand its cloud-based digital transformation business.

ServiceNow is a leading digital workflow company that helps foster a better working environment by providing IT service management (ITSM) solutions based on its Now Platform.

With this partnership, Samsung SDS will support the digital transformation of its client companies through consulting, setup and operational services of Now Platform along with the application of its various industry-specific solutions including Brity RPA and Chatbot.

In particular, Samsung SDS plans to secure a “standard model” which optimizes tasks that are commonly carried out at companies and then expand its business among Samsung affiliates and external clients.

Moreover, the two companies will strengthen collaboration on new digital technologies such as natural language understanding (NLU) and artificial intelligence (AI) while jointly seeking business opportunities in the global market. The two companies will also run a regular consultative body to continuously check the progress made by the partnership.

Stanley Kang, Executive Vice President and Leader of IT Innovation Business Division at Samsung SDS, said, “Through this strategic partnership, we will actively support the digital transformation of our clients and further expand our cloud-based solution and services to a global level.”
