The last section I would like to discuss would be the uses of EMM within the US Government and Military industries specifically. Most of us have heard about the occurrences where the government using drones for surveillance; along with many other uses. One of the goals for the government and military is to have the capability to manage these drones through EMM, in addition to the rest of the devices they use actively. They would be able to manage all of their devices through one console and allow data to be shared freely. To secure any communication, you can set an EMM specific encryption key; which allows users to converse securely to one another through the EMM system, while leaving others completely incapable of decrypting any form of messages.

By expanding on this technology, we now have a special ‘hardened’ version of EMM with a supplementary layer of security that allows only devices on that precise EMM to talk to one another. As a drone flies over a city or battlefield it can, in real time, pipe data through the EMM, to Knox hardened mobile devices on the ground. Troops could have an aerial, real time view of the battlefield, and have up to date intelligence at all times. They could have their movement’s updated based on conditions for terrain, any enemy combatants, or even something as simple as traffic. A drone is only one source of information, the more devices, sensors, pieces of equipment you have accumulating data, the better picture you will get.

Throughout this entire series my goal was enlighten you to the possibilities that the future of EMM can be. I also wanted to brainstorm as to where I personally believe the future is going to bring us technologically from many different aspects of our lives, personally, professionally, globally, etc. I do not believe there is a problem we cannot overcome or a goal too far out of reach. In the future anything is possible; this is an area where Samsung has never gone, and they definitely could. I am excited to see where the future of this technology will take us from an individual level all the way through to a global one as well.
