Samsung SDS' data center IT systems use power-saving flash memory and solid state drives (SSDs) to maximize energy efficiency. The airside economizers process outside air into cool energy for our servers. And, with analytic hydrodynamic models built using Samsung SDS technologies, air movements are examined to find optimal and practical ways to use atmospheric energy.
Samsung SDS continuously searches for innovative energy solutions to power the data centers. The solar water heaters, solar lighting systems, geothermal heating, cooling systems, and fuel cell technology are currently in use.

- ISO 14001
ㆍSamsung SDS utilizes an internationally recognized framework known as ISO 14001 to manage and continuously improve environmental performance.The scope of our our ISO 14001 certified environmental management system includes 1) software and hardware product development, operation and delivery based on ICT, 2) system integration services including consulting and project management, and 3) consulting and service of integrated logistics (dometisc/international stransportation, warehouse management). The facilities included in our 14001 certificate include all domestic and international offices and worksites.
- Korea Data Center Council (KDCC) Green Data Center Certification
ㆍGreen Data Center Certification is only program developed to improve data center energy efficiency and reduce energy consumption. Samsung SDS Suwon Data Center first acquired the certification in 2013 and Chuncheon certified as Platinum in 2022.
