Employee Pledge for Compliance and Ethical Management

First,
I will familiarize myself with the 「Samsung Management Principles」 and the company regulations related to compliance management and will comply with them.
Second,
I will familiarize myself with domestic and foreign laws related to my work, such as fair trade laws, and comply with them, and I will not engage in any acts that violate laws and company regulations or order, approve, aid and abet to such acts.
Third,
based on honesty and sincerity, we will strictly distinguish between public and private affairs and take the lead in building a compliance culture by practicing a higher level of moral duty and social responsibility.

Samsung SDS operates various Compliance Programs
to establish a compliance culture and practice fair trade.

  • Compliance Training

    Regular training on fair trade laws and regulations and CP standards and procedures is provided to top management and all employees.

  • Compliance Inspection

    Regular legal risk assessments and inspections are conducted to identify and address risk factors associated with compliance with fair trade legislation. Additionally, evaluations of CP standards, processes, and operations are conducted to ensure effective operation and enhancement of the Compliance Program.

  • Rewards and Sanctions

    Rewards are given to outstanding activists who contribute to establishing compliance with fair trade laws and regulations. On the other hand, sanctions are imposed on violators.

  • CPMS (Compliance Program Management System)

    Standards and procedures for CP, operating organizations, guidelines, latest regulatory trends, FAQs, etc. are provided through CPMS, a platform for law-abiding management.

Self-Compliance Manual

Samsung SDS publishes a Fair Trade Self-Compliance Manual
so that internal and external stakeholders can check in advance various information
about Fair Trade Act; main contents, explanations, FAQs, checklists, and major sanction cases.
