Brity Works, Samsung SDS’s AI collaboration solution, is rapidly being adopted as the official collaboration tool across government bodies.
The Ministry of Finance and Economy and the Ministry of Planning and Budget confirmed their adoption of Brity Works in April. Including these two, a total of nine government bodies -- the Ministry of Patriots and Veterans Affairs; the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Resources; the Ministry of Employment and Labor; the Financial Services Commission; and the Overseas Koreans Agency -- have confirmed their adoption of the solution. The government bodies will sequentially launch the service by August.
Previously, the Ministry of the Interior and Safety announced its plans to expand the adoption of OnAI, a generative AI-powered intelligent work management platform, to more than 40 central government agencies within the second half of this year. Samsung SDS is supporting AI-driven administrative innovation within the government by providing Brity Works as the official collaboration tool.
□ Enhancing Civil Servant Work Efficiency Through AI Search, Knowledge Management, and Mobile-Based Collaboration
Samsung SDS’s Brity Works offers an integrated suite of collaboration features, including AI-powered search, knowledge management, document creation assistance, messaging, video conferencing, and file sharing.
The solution seamlessly integrates generative AI into daily work to enhance civil servant productivity and facilitate collaboration across government bodies. It also enables mobile-based real-time reporting, approvals, video conferencing, and AI-powered meeting summaries, creating a work environment that is not constrained by location.
With Brity Works, civil servants can quickly find the information they need from vast amounts of administrative data using AI-powered search, and efficiently handle follow-up tasks using automatically generated meeting summaries.
Even when traveling for business or working off-site, they can continue to work, improving work continuity and efficiency.
□ Supporting AI Transformation (AX) in the Public Sector Through a Top-Tier Security Environment
Public institutions handle the public’s personal information as well as critical government data, requiring a high level of security.
Brity Works operates on Samsung SDS’s security technologies and a public-private partnership (PPP) cloud environment that has received the highest security rating from the National Intelligence Service. This enables central government bodies and public institutions to leverage generative AI in a secure environment.
Moving forward, Samsung SDS plans to continuously enhance Brity Works in line with the government’s efforts to expand AI-powered work environments. The solution will be developed into an AI collaboration tool for the public sector that enhances civil servant productivity and the quality of administrative services.
Hae-goo Song, Executive Vice President and Leader of the Solution Business Division at Samsung SDS, said, “With a total of nine central government bodies having selected Brity Works as their official collaboration tool, its adoption in the public sector is gaining momentum. Going forward, we will strengthen the solution’s integration with the OnAI mobile service to create a work environment where civil servants can work conveniently and securely anytime, anywhere. We will actively support AX in the public sector.”
